NEW OPPORTUNITIES FOR YEAR 10/YEAR 11 STUDENTS

Opened in March 2015, BIC is a small, independent college offering students in Year 10 and Year 11 regular opportunities to take entry level Functional examinations and English for Speakers of other Languages (ESOL) examinations with OCR and Edexcel.

Our qualified teachers specialise in teaching students who are newly arrived to the UK and may have limited English language. We also welcome students who may not yet be ready to take GCSEs and for whom Functional examinations offer an alternative access route to post 16 education. A BTEC Health and Social Care course is also available for Year 10 and 11 students with sufficient English language ability.
